This Auction is for a classic LP from the 1970's
DAVID BOWIE
Aladdin Sane
RCA RS 1001 Stereo 1973 Made in England.
This is a first press with the correct matrix numbers being CPRY 4543-3T & 4544-3T.
An absolutely superb copy of a 1970's Bowie album.
Tracks are:
Side 1. Watch That Man, Aladdin sane, Drive In Saturday, Panic In Detroit, Cracked Actor.
Side 2. Time, The Prettiest Star, Let's Spend The Night Together, The Jean Genie, Lady Grinning Soul.
Record condition: A Fabulous copy. Really nice thick and heavy vinyl that shines and glistens like new. It's only when held under a bright light that I can see a couple of very faint hairline surface marks. The record really has hardly been played to be in this condition. I grade this record as Excellent.
Label condition: The original Orange RCA labels state "Victor" on the right hand side and are just like new on both sides. I can't even see any evidence of play around either side of the spindle hole.
Outer Sleeve/Cover: Fabulous unlaminated gatefold sleeve made by Shorewood Ltd., England in excellent condition. No corner wear, no outer edges wear, no feathering of the opening edge, no wear along the spine edge. The spine itself is as straight and square as the day it was made. I can only fault the entire sleeve by a bit of discolouration to the very top edge on the right hand side of the front and at the top on the inside gatefold along both corner areas.
Inner Sleeve: Original card lyric inner sleeve in wonderful condition.
Summary: A fabulous 1970's Bowie album in absolutely excellent, original condition.

All my records are played and graded by the "Bible" Record Collector's Grading System. Please see below:-
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extras such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
