Two powerhouse rock bands team up, Motion City Soundtrack and Schatzi, to bring you a collection of post-hardcore rock and smart pop. The latter is brought to you by Schatzi, who play pop with a spark, crafting toe-tapping, sing along songs that also possess enough rock guitar to keep you bouncing up and down as you pump your fists - and smile happily note to note. Motion City Soundtrack is the exact opposite, dropping the pop and amping up the punk-inspired rock, playing with a hardcore intensity and punk mentality for their brand of post-hardcore rock 'n' roll. Still, they sneak in a little bit of melody to keep you on your toes, and set you up for the band to follow. Quite the opposites, the two bands don't actually go that well together, but rock will be rock, and if you like loud guitars and plenty of punchy rhythms, they'll fit like hand and glove.
