This is the VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO on VERVE RECORDS V-5008 MONO, one of the FIRST PRESSINGS and even has the Eric Emerson Lawsuit TORSO STICKER on the back of the jacket! The Unpeeled Banana cover design created by Andy Warhol. The banana could be peeled to reveal a flesh covered banana underneath. The rear of the jacket features the large black sticker used to cover actor/musician Eric Emerson in lieu of a lawsuit that he was implementing against them for using his image without his consent proving it is one of the first pressings as his image was later airbrushed off later pressings.

Vinyl Side 1 is VG, clean and shiny with some light surface marks and hairlines. Side 2 is VG+ with some light surface marks and some very very light hairlines. Very clean and shiny. Original Blue and Silver labels are very nice with just a few light spindle marks. Jacket is in VG condition as well, there is no writing, tape, or any other mark that would lower it down to Good except some minor seam splitting and you can see the ring where the record is from years of storage. The top of the banana has a small piece missing which doesn't reveal any of the "flesh" colored banana underneath.

Original Verve inner sleeve included as well. Buyer to pay shipping. Thank You.
