WILLIAM ONYEABORATOMIC BOMB!

You are bidding on a fantastic play copy of WILLIAM ONYEABOR'S essential second album "ATOMIC BOMB." Wilfilms Records WRLP 1002, Stereo, Made in Nigeria 1978. Vinyl is G+ with plenty of scuffs and light scratches. Record plays fine and sounds great despite a fair share of surface noise—no skips or pops. Labels have spindle marks. Sleeve is G/G+ with ring wear, creases, chipped edges, a written name on the "A" of "Atomic" and all three seams taped up (please look at photos). Inner sleeve (I don't think original) has the stamp of a Parisian record store.

 

Good luck! Great play copy of this afro-funk synth classic! Regardless of condition, any copy of this record that "plays through" is a crowd pleaser, conversation starter and dancefloor smoker! Sing along, clap, smile...  I will pack the record separately from the sleeve in a real cardboard "record" mailer.

 The way I see it, this record (and all copies of this record) have "character." I like to imagine who initially bought this in Nigeria circa '78... How many times it was handled and played at Nigerian house-parties... How it ended up at a Parisian record store... And now is making you and your friends' booties shake! The "character" is all right there on the sleeve and in the grooves! For real look at the picture on the cover!!! Bid. Enjoy.
