Prime Records Presents Juke Box 78’s Volume 1. Very rare collection of vinyl 78s pressed in the ‘70s. Includes many titles that were never released on 78 originally such as the Beatles “Twist and Shout” and the Supremes “You Can’t Hurry Love.” According to the song title list on the front of the box there were originally 25 discs in this set, however this lot is for 23 78’s. This is what was in the box when I purchased it. The records range from VG+ to NM condition. The box they came in grades a strong VG. There is a piece of duct tape along the box’s opening and some tearing from tape removal on the top of the box. Otherwise the box is strong and sturdy with no corner wear or structural issues. Includes the original jukebox title strips.

The discs in this set are as follows:

1.) Ricky Nelson – “Poor Little Fool” b/w “It’s Late”  Cat. #: PRM-78-30. Grades NM.

2.) Chubby Checker – “The Twist” b/w The Diamonds – “The Stroll”  Cat. #: PRM-78-49. Grades NM.

3.) Beach Boys – “409” b/w “Fun Fun Fun”  Cat. #: PRM-78-4. Grades VG++.

7.) Buzz Clifford – “Baby Sittin’ Boogie” b/w Ray Smith – “Rockin’ Little Angel”   Cat. #: PRM-78-3. Grades NM/VG+. There is one very small spot of flaking on the outer edge of the Ray Smith side. This should not affect play as it the spot only affects the outermost part of the disc and the first three bands of the run-in groove.
