This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono pressing of Wayne Shorter “Adam’s Apple” on the blue and white Liberty labels of Blue Note BLP 4232. The playing surface is in virtually new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The West 61st St. cover is also in extraordinary condition – very bright and clean throughout – with slight wear at the top left and bottom right corners; slight rubbing at the top and bottom center edges in the front, light 1 ¾” water stain on the lower left edge of the back slick. Illustrated inner sleeve is included.
Personnel include Herbie Hancock, Reggie Workman, and Joe Chambers.
