RECORD GRADING SYSTEM

 

We clean and visually inspect all of our records. Rather than a complicated rating system that includes VG,VG+,VG++ etc we have adopted a simplified system as shown here:

10 - Mint Condition / Like New

  9 - Excellent, near-mint, condition. No scuffs, scratches, or blemishes.

  8 - A few light scuffs, blemishes or a couple of small scratches that CANNOT be felt.

  7 - A record that has seen significant use. Will contain numerous light scratches that

       CANNOT be felt, blemishes, and/or scuffs. Light popping sounds should be 

       expected.

  6 - We do not normally list records below a graded 7 unless there is a collectable value

        to them. This one has a couple of feelable scratches.
