WHAT IT IS
Here's Iggy Pop's first band one and only 45, which includes two great garage tune : Mona b/w I don't know why. Mona is a primitive track with a shaking diddley beat, comped many times. The Iguanas were an Ann Arbor Michigan outfit which included Jim Osterberg, aka Iggy Pop on drums. This is their only recording. This is the very first press of the record, not one of the 80s repress. Original pressing (about 1000 copies) and the maxtrix number ZTSC121007-1A stamped in the runout (see pictures). Later issues only had the catalog number (AR-201) + song title written in the runout. This copy probably comes from a box that the bassist of the band found at his parents house in the 80s, as it looks like a stock copy, in stunning condition. This record is part of rock and punk history.
