This is the
Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs LP
of the
Jethro Tull
album titled
"Thick As A Brick"
(MFSL 1-187) (1985)
This is one of a handful of albums that Mobile Fidelity put out at the very end of the JVC Japanese pressings. Like the UHQR titles, only 5000 copies were made, and each one had a serial number. This copy is number 3854.
It is a beautiful copy with no splits, bends, cuts or promo holes in the gatefold jacket. All corners are nice and sharp. The record is also in great condition with no signs of play. There are no marks or scratches on the vinyl, even under intense light, and no spindle marks on the labels. Pressed in Japan.
A tough MoFi title to find, and the inner stiffener shows listings of other MoFi titles including Janis Joplin's "Pearl" which was never released. This is as close to a new copy as you will find without buying a sealed copy.
The photos are of the actual item for sale.
