Ultra rare South African instrumental township soul album on the highly collectable Ring Records, catalogue number RG(C) 1009. This is a typical mid 70`s soul sound found in the shebeens (bars) of Soweto and other Black townships. Features interplay between organ, guitar, bass and drums with occasional horns (no vocals), mood wise it swings between slow soul and up tempo jive. No information on the players. Contrary to the title this is not a gospel record. Vinyl has couple of light crackles in places but rated EX; sleeve has a cellophane loss and a touch of light ring mark on the back, graded VG+. A must for collectors !

Shipping- All vinyl records are packaged outside of the covers in new soft plastic anti static inner sleeves to avoid seam splits, wrapped in special protective material, placed between  top and bottom LP sized cardboard sleeves and then packed in custom made vinyl boxes. All orders have Fragile stickers placed on both sides.

Costs- International airmail postage costs from South Africa with tracking number to the rest of the world are high. Single LP`s cost $20, additional LP`s cost an extra $8 each. We also offer the Post Office`s EMS service for larger/heavier parcels and a courier service, prices on request.

Delivery - Normal delivery times range from 14 to 30 days ,depending on whether there is industrial action in the South African postal system.

NEAR MINT : Record will look and play nearly as new.
EX+ : Record may have slight visual defects and have one or two very minor light scuffs which dont affect play
EX : Record has minor scuffs or may have one or two very slight marks, might play with one or two light pops or clicks
EX - : Record may have some slight scratches and one or two light marks but nothing too deep. Plays with slightest crackle in places or one or two quiet pops or clicks
VG+ : Record has light scratches and will have marks that sound but generally still sounding strong with a few clicks and pops.
VG : Record has scuff marks/scratches which effect play with many clicks and pops.
GOOD : Record has many marks and scratches and will effect play and sound terrible, record might be cracked and will be mentioned in listing.
