1st album by Italian singer-songwriter Giuni Russo on this album called "Junie", later specialised in Experimental music after a short stint as art-pop singer in the early '80s. This sought-after and highly-collectable gatefold front-laminated LP presents multi-colored sounds and styles going from Soul-Pop-Jazz to some Blues hints and melt with the decreasing phase of Italian Prog. Rock. Includes anyway some sweet and Easy Listening melodies that wouldn't show them up in some Armando Trovajoli's soundtrack. All of this accompained by great, refined vocal virtuosity. Listen!


Fantastic vocal Prog. "MILK OF PARADISE", aggressive rhythms and Fuzz guitars, Jazz piano and intensive vocals, killer tune. Excellent jazz-Funk on "ACTING THE PART", super heavy bass with rhythmic percussions session and horns, Funky acustic guitar for a nice groove. An uncredited Enrico Rava playing the trumpet here. "EVERY TIME YOU LEAVE" enchanting Jazz-Pop melodies, "SUDDENLY I'M ALONE" '70s-styled Pop-Prog. The closing "VODKA" features intial chorus accompained by Wah-Wah guitar and then superb sweet Moody Psychedelic melodies with Psych guitar solos and Wah-Wah effects again, superb Prog. bassline too.
