A friend of mine asked me to sell a small part of his record collection. To begin, we are listing a lot of 25 classic LPs of the punk/post-punk era, all original pressings from the late 70’s and early 80’s. Check out our !

Here, for your consideration, we have a RARE Original vinyl copy of the classic Germ Free Adolescents, the seminal X-Ray Spex album, a UK release from 1978 on the EMI International label, catalog # INS 3023.

This is the very first pressing of this pivotal punk album, not a later reissue or bootleg.

Blue labels.

Original lyrics inner sleeve is included.

No barcode.

CONDITION:

We do our best to grade conservatively, so that you are happy with your purchase.

Also, we try to specify any imperfections present on the disc, the label, and the sleeve (cover) of the LP.

Nevertheless, for an even better evaluation of the conditions of the item, please take a thorough look at the attached photos. They are part of the description and worth more than any words we could write.

All photos are of our actual items. We do not use found or stock photos; what you see is what you get.

If, after reading the whole description and examining the photos closely and attentively, you still have doubts or need further information (matrix/runout etchings, for instance) about the condition of the LP, please don't hesitate to contact us. As in life, clear and polite communication prevents a lot of problems.

RECORD: EX

Record only visually graded, not play graded.

The record looks clean and beautiful, with no scratches, no hairlines, and just a couple of very, very faint sleeve scuffs that are visible only under strong light.

Despite the great condition of the record, remember it's a used record. There might be occasional clicks and pops, especially in quieter passages.

The record labels are pretty good, with no writing, barely any spindle marks at all, but some wear around the spindle hole.

In view of the different record cleaning preferences of each person, we won’t clean or wash the record; we strongly recommend the buyer make a good clean prior to playing the record.

SLEEVE: VG

The sleeve is nice, with no writing, no tears, no splits, and only light shelf wear.

The laminated cover is kind of dirty, especially on the edge area where lamination shrunk off. See pictures.

Ring wear becoming slightly visible.

Some creases on the front and rear cover.

Light rubbing on the spine, top and bottom edges, with some discoloration.

Corners slightly dented/bent, with some rubbing also present. Front bottom left corner is more damaged.

Spine is fully readable, though.

In general, still a decent cover. May need a clean.
