Among early synthesizer music artists, Chris Swansen is one of the most obscure, although he really shouldn't be. He grew up in Milwaukee, went to Dartmouth and the Berkelee School of Music in Boston, and was considered well "ahead of his time" by his peers. It was his tenure with the R. A. Moog Company in Upstate New York that afforded him the opportunity to work with a Moog modular synthezier, and also have Robert A. Moog do the album liner notes for him. (How many other synthesists, Moog owners or recording artists can boast that?) Swansen also played with numerous jazz greats including Phil Woods, Gary
Burton, John McLaughlin, Eddie Gomez, Joe Henderson, Stan Kenton and Maynard Ferguson, among many other accomplishments. After Moog, he moved back to the Midwest,  Pittsville,
Wisconsin. Swansen died of a brain tumor at age 56 in 1995.

I don't think there were a lot of these LPs pressed; after all, this was a "private label", making the record quite rare. Cover is in EXCELLENT condition with only a little edge and corner wear. Vinyl also appears to be in EXCELLENT condition (that's between VG+ and Near Mint). Great find!
