Continuing the selling of a friend of mine's record collection. This week's LPs are in his winter house in Colorado. It's a small lot of 30 classic albums, mostly from the 70’s and 80’s. Check out our !!

Here, for your consideration, we have a RARE vinyl copy of Chronic Town, the top-notch debut EP by R.E.M., an original US release from 1982 on the I.R.S. Records label, catalog # SP 70502.

This is probably the third press of this great EP.

Silver labels with black lettering and red I.R.S. logo.

I.R.S. price hype sticker still on the shrink wrap.

There is a barcode on the back cover.

CONDITION:

We do our best to grade conservatively, so that you are happy with your purchase.

Also, we try to specify any imperfections present on the disc, the label, and the sleeve (cover) of the LP.

Nevertheless, for an even better evaluation of the conditions of the item, please take a thorough look at the attached photos. They are part of the description and worth more than any words we could write.

All photos are of our actual items. We do not use found or stock photos; what you see is what you get.

If, after reading the whole description and examining the photos closely and attentively, you still have doubts or need further information (matrix/runout etchings, for instance) about the condition of the LP, please don't hesitate to contact us. As in life, clear and polite communication prevents a lot of problems.

RECORD: VG+

Record only visually graded, not play graded.

The record looks clean and beautiful, with no scratches, no hairlines, and just a couple of very, very faint sleeve scuffs that are visible only under strong light.

Despite the great condition of the record, remember it's a used record. There might be occasional clicks and pops, especially in quieter passages.

The record labels are good, with no writing, a few spindle marks, very light wear around the spindle hole, but some rubbing along the edges of the label (see picture 5).

In view of the different record cleaning preferences of each person, we won’t clean or wash the record; we strongly recommend the buyer make a good clean prior to playing the record.

SLEEVE: EX

The sleeve is excelent, still shrink wrapped, with no writing, no tears, no splits, and only very light shelf wear.

Some creases on the front and rear cover.

Light rubbing on the corners, with slight discoloration.

Spine is fully readable, with no important flaws.

In general, a beautiful cover.

All records will be packed carefully in LP mailers with the vinyl removed from its outer sleeve to avoid damages to it whilst in transit.

We combine shipping for multiple orders.
