This is Blue Note Records BLP 1518, Horace Silver And The Jazz Messengers, a blue and white, deep groove, microgroove, 63rd st. label, flat rim, mono issue of this classic record with RVG etched and the ear (p) mark stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG++ condition showing a few light marks on both sides and playing quietly throughout. The cover, with the 767 Lexington Ave. New York 21 address and blank spine, has a small loss on the cover, a name in pen on the back and some edge wear. The labels show light spindle marks. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this beautiful early mono Blue Note. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP-12 in mono mode.
