Here, for your consideration, we have a RARE vinyl copy of Searching For The Young Soul Rebels, the magnificent debut album by the Dexys Midnight Runners, an original UK release from 1980 on the Parlophone / Late Night Feelings Records label, catalog # PCS 7213.

This is the very first pressing of this classic album, not a later reissue or bootleg.

The original printed inner sleeve is included.

No barcode on the rear cover.

CONDITION:

We do our best to grade conservatively, so that you are happy with your purchase.

Also, we try to specify any imperfections present on the disc, the label, and the sleeve (cover) of the LP.

Nevertheless, for an even better evaluation of the conditions of the item, please take a thorough look at the attached photos. They are part of the description and worth more than any words we could write.

All photos are of our actual items. We do not use found or stock photos; what you see is what you get.

If, after reading the whole description and examining the photos closely and attentively, you still have doubts or need further information (matrix/runout etchings, for instance) about the condition of the LP, please don't hesitate to contact us. As in life, clear and polite communication prevents a lot of problems.

 

RECORD: EX

Record is only visually graded, not play graded.

The record looks clean and beautiful, with no deep scratches, hardly any hairlines, and only a couple of very, very faint sleeve scuffs that are visible only under strong light. Remember, though, it is a used record, so there might be occasional clicks and pops, especially in quieter passages.

The record labels are awesome, with no writing, no wear, and barely any spindle marks at all.

In view of the different record cleaning preferences of each person, we won’t clean or wash the record; we strongly recommend the buyer to make a good clean prior to playing the record.

 

SLEEVE: VG+

The sleeve is very nice, with no writing, no tears, no splits, and only light shelf wear.

The main flaw on this cover is an initial process split on the center of the top edge (see photo 4). It is more like a minor tear on the very edge, because there are no signs of vinyl knifing on the area. It's really a very minor flaw.

Some creases around the edges and spine on the front and rear cover.

Minor rubbing on top and bottom edges, with some discoloration.

Corners slightly dented/bent, with some rubbing also present.

Spine is fully readable, with no worth mentioning flaws.

In general, still a very beautiful and colorful cover.

All records will be packed carefully in LP mailers with the vinyl removed from its original outer sleeve to avoid damages to it during transport.

We only ship to the address provided by PayPal, unless other arrangement between buyer and seller is previously made.

We do combine shipping for multiple orders.

Local pickup is available for Houston area buyers.

Please remember that import duties, taxes, and any other charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.
