Roger Nichols Trio Great Sunshine Pop 
Their languid, oh so sexy version of "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" does Bacharach & David proud.  A true sleeper in the context of California pop. As a songwriter, Roger Nichols wrote with such luminaries as Paul Williams and Tony Asher (fresh from his collaboration with Brian Wilson on Pet Sounds. The group itself has a great vocal blend. Nichols is joined by Murray MacLeod and his sister, Melinda. The three voices combined create a wonderful, soft sheen. Superbly produced by Tommy LaPuma, the album unfortunately didn't do very well at the time of its release, which is an incredible injustice. The music, though, holds up extremely well today, and is an authentic slice of California pop. Delicious.

LABELS: Very Good. Writing on both sides. (See pics.)

Mint:  Looks unplayed or still sealed.  Rarely use this grading.

NM:  Clean, shiny.  May be a few very light marks.

VG++: Better than VG+, but not quite NM.

VG+:  May show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches. 

TVG:  Still a good record and plays OK.  May be starting to lack gloss and noticeable noise in softer passages.  May have a scuff or scratch that can be felt with finger.      

VG- (VG minus):  Has scratches, scuffs or wear that causes some surface noise.  

G: Scratchy.

P (Poor):  Collection Filler.  Any 45's listed less than G will only be listed to fill a collection.  Will do my best to describe.
