Here is a MEGA RARE vintage country music album from my collection offered up for sale: An original 1961 DJ radio station PROMO lp of acclaimed vocalist Patsy Cline's album "Showcase", released by Decca Records DL 4202 Mono. This promotional pressing features "Sample Copy" pink radio station Decca labels on rigid vinyl, cover has song promo sticker and "a gift from WCBH" (Radio Station in Illinois?) written on the back, cool!
This vintage record grades VG/VG+, is clean and glossy, has many very light marks and some needle marks but still plays great!, has been PLAY TESTED! Plays from start to finish with very good sound quality, a few light pops otherwise clear sound, no jumps or skips! NO hisss or annoying surface noise. This record still delivers a very enjoyable listen! Patsy sings Hank Cochran's "I fall to pieces", "Crazy" written by an unknown young man named Willie Nelson! "South of the border", "Have you ever been lonely?", and many more!
The cover rates VG+, has bright color with no ring wear, edges and corners show minimal wear but small center splits neatly repaired with clear tape (barely noticeable), binder edge still readable, back has pen writing, a few faint spot stainshas been very well cared for! Still has printed inner sleeve, clean and bright. Classic songs and RARE collectable, in beautiful condition for it's age!
