Grades Media first/Sleeve second - ie vg/vg/ = vinyl very good , sleeve very good and so forth.. MINT (M) Perfect. New or as New. Not necessarily sealed, may have been played once but looks mint, ie 'perfect' EXCELLENT (EX) Has been used but shows little signs of such. Great shine to vinyl. Covers will be near perfect, w minor signs of use VERY GOOD (VG+) Minimal light hairline may be present, as well as minor scuffing and minor wear. Playback should not be affected. Covers for the most part may have an imperfection such as price tag stain or tear, small crease etc VG Visible light scratches, scuffing wear perhaps v minor warps which will not result in record skipping may result in minor surface noise, crackling and groove wear. Sleeve may have foxing, ring wear seam splits or creases but overall will be in good condition. Fair The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced. Poor The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be damaged or partly missing. Bad The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."
