This is the RVG-stamped (no “P”) mono pressing of Sonny Clark “Leapin’ and Lopin’” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4091. The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated New York 23 cover is also in beautiful condition – bright and clean throughout – with ¼” wear at the opening corners. Illustrated inner sleeve is included.
Personnel include Tommy Turrentine, Charlie Rouse, Butch Warren, and Billy Higgins.
