Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. 1972 Original first press with eye-popping colorized transparency gimmix "window" cover ... the music within a heavy brand of underground rock, progressive and psych moves, gushing organ, lysergic guitar runs, the tracks are center-cut "Krautrock" behavior...

Historically undocumented, there's not known about "Haze." However, Bacillus Records must have deemed them as important, in that they presented their first and only LP in a fantastic cover - an LP size transparency slide (known as a "dia" in Germany.) The gimmick sleeve was created by designer Walter Seyffer, who also created the cover of the Nine Days Wonder 'foam' cover album - and was their singer, too.

Recorded in 1971, this German album is a complex heavy progressive rock effort with plenty of excellent guitar playing and some nice psychedelic touches (as one would expect by its psychedelic cover) ...Haze were among the first of such bands to present the uniquely German "hard-rock" sound, into which they mixed a complex variety of progressive elements, featuring guitars to the fore and quite a bizarre vocalist. They were also typical of the Bacillus Records sound venturing on to psychedelic and blues realms. It would also be safe to also compare the group to others in the Krautrock scene, ("Night Sun" "Dschinn" "Jeronimo" "Weed" "Orange Peel" etc.) as well as heavy blues bands that were transitioning out of the psychedelic era into the 70's. However, Haze came equipped with a tricky sense of humor in their lyrics. Unafraid to jam, the songs are loaded with lengthy instrumental passages that highlight Schwab's guitar skills (and the shortest track clocks in at a mere six and a half minutes).

Haze feature cleverly-arranged heavy progressive rock numbers, psychedelically fueled with a faint blues tinge, "A Way To Find Paradise" tells about a hippies struggle to get his hashish to smoke! Scherler really had a strange and wild voice (he usually screamed as loudly as he could), adding much to their gutsy freak rock style. Recommended for all the freak-rock & Krautrock / underground fans out there.
