(Sue) LP 2004, rare original DG (1963) pressing, cover has mild wear primarily along seams and lower left bottom corner with seams solidly intact, very nice condition, strong VG+ (VG++), vinyl has solid gloss/shine with few scattered fine marks (fine paper lines, scuffs), solid VG+. For most part, the vinyl looks great, without any MAJOR visual flaws or imperfections. Most of the original luster is intact, and the vinyl gleams almost like new.
16th listings info
Our sixteenth series of auctioning records includes our X-Mas holiday sales and will continue through January and February of the next year with the following genres to be offered: American Rock & Roll, Foreign (primarily British) Rock & Roll, classic Rhythm& Blues, collector’s Soundtracks, and some Blues & Jazz with additional Autographed Albums included within these genres and as well as Christmas albums. These are often difficult albums to find as we have discovered over the past 40 or so years. The beginning bid prices are based on their rarity. Many items were signed in person and obtained from individuals who stated as such. Some come with COA. One week post shipping you will have 30 day guarantee period to pass JSA & PSA/DNA authentication. For those signed articles that do not pass authentication, upon return of the signed article your money plus shipping cost will be returned to you.
We grade our records
conservatively, by visual inspection unless stated otherwise, largely following
the traditional Goldmine standards.
SS = still sealed
NM = near mint (including
unplayed) condition. Cover is crisp and new looking with no ring
wear.
EX = vinyl has only slight signs
of wear; overall very clean (with excellent gloss), only light surface marks
(hairline seen under strong light) which will not distract significantly from
the sound. Cover has only slight wear, and is still in excellent collectible
condition.
VG+ = vinyl was most likely played
often but handled with reasonable care resulting in moderate surface wear and possibly
some moderate noise but still strong gloss and plays very well. Cover may
have gentle overall wear (especially along edges and corners) or some ring
wear.
VG = vinyl with overall wear,
but no skips or serious defects, more noisy sound during quiet passages. Cover may
be well worn, usually with considerable ring wear, edges may be split but clear
taped, may have writing (previous owner’s name).
VG- = vinyl has considerable wear and often with considerable scratches but no
skips. Cover may have marked ring wear, split edges, tape marks, writing, etc. Only
very scarce records are sold by us in this category or the one below as well as
the categories below VG-.
G or G+ = Poor or Rough
condition (frisbee material). No guarantee on these records. Collectors only!
