This is the original Van Gelder-stamped “P”-pressing of Don Cherry “Complete Communion” on the New York, USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4226. The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The coated New York 23 cover is clean and bright throughout; “Review Copy” stamped at the top of the back slick. Illustrated inner sleeve is included.
Personnel include Gat Barbieri, Henry Grimes, and Ed Blackwell.
