This is the original deep-groove pressing of Tubby Hayes “Little Giant of Jazz” on Imperial 9046 – the first U.S. release of Tubby’s Tempo sessions from 1955 and ’56. The playing surface is as-new, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The coated frame cover is also in excellent condition – shiny, clean and without any ring wear; previous owner’s name is written small at the top of the back.
The all-British personnel include Dickie Hawdon, Harry South, Pete Blannin, and Bill Eyden.
