These two great Jazz Artists on one record. 
Louis Armstrong, nicknamed "Satchmo," was one of the first truly popular African-American entertainers, whose skin color was secondary to his music in an America that was extremely racially divided.
He won a Grammy Award in 1964 for "Hello, Dolly". He was posthumously awarded the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1972.  Recordings of Louis Armstrong were inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, which is a special Grammy Award established in 1973 to honor recordings that are at least 25 years old, and that have "qualitative or historical significance".  He has eleven songs in this category. 
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame listed Louis Armstrong's "West End Blues" on the list of 500 songs that shaped Rock and Roll.  He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
He was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960.  In 1999, he was nominated for inclusion in the American Film Institute's "100 Years - 100 Stars.

Canadian Born Oscar Peterson released over 200 recordings, won eight Grammy Awards (1975, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1990 (two - Group & Soloist), 1991 and the Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997) and received numerous other awards and honors.  He is considered one of the greatest jazz pianists.  He was elected to the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1978.  In 2013, he was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame.
Duke Ellington called him the "Maharaja of the keyboard".
