Brand new, sealed limited edition of "Rarities Vol. 2" on beautiful translucent blue vinyl by BLUE OYSTER CULT.

This is the 2018 Record Store Day issue, and only 2,000 copies were pressed worldwide for this album (only 1,400 for the USA).  This 2 LP set includes 19 BÖC rarities dating from 1975-1988, all never before on vinyl.

100 copies of this release include a "golden ticket" photo autographed by Eric Bloom and Buck Dharma
, so maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones to buy one of those 100 albums.  (This album is still sealed, so I don't know whether or not either one I'm selling has a golden ticket inside.)

The cover features a previously unreleased photograph that was one of the source images from which the band members were illustrated for the "Secret Treaties" album.  The album has additional rare photos and liner notes featuring quotes from the band.

The two vinyl records are pressed on translucent blue vinyl, and housed inside a gatefold jacket festooned with photos from the Columbia label archives and featuring an essay by Scott Schinder drawn from interviews with Eric Bloom and Buck Dharma.

Among the rare live cuts, demos, and album outtakes are pre-production demos for Agents of Fortune’s “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” and “Dance the Night Away,” and covers of The Who’s “Substitute” and The Beatles’ “I Want You (She’s So Heavy).”

I will ship this to the lucky buyer in a sturdy corrugated cardboard vinyl album mailer, with two thick corrugated cardboard sheets (one on each side of the album) inserted into the mailer for further protection during shipment.
