"The 19 LPs of EMI’s ‘Great Cathedral Organs’ series released between 1963 and 1971 constituted one of the most important recording projects in the history of the English organ. The brainchild of producer Brian Culverhouse, it featured organs of impeccably English lineage and organists steeped in the centuries’ old traditions of English cathedral music. Since most of these organs have long since been replaced or modified in an attempt to give them a more European flavour and many modern-day English cathedral organists belong to a more cosmopolitan musical generation, these recordings have assumed particular historical significance. They recorded, quite literally, the end of an era."

OUR RECORDS ARE CLEANED WITH AN OKKI NOKKI RECORD CLEANING MACHINE IF A CLEAN IS NEEDED.

Mint  - this is a sealed record.

NM (near mint):   Clean but opened. No marks.

NM-/NM: Basically flawless NM, but for 1 or 2 very, very light, non-sounding wispy sleeve marks.

NM-: Almost NM. There may be a small number of very light, non-sounding wispy sleeve marks.

Ex+: A few very light, non-sounding hairline marks.

Ex:   A few more hairline and light marks. Maybe the odd pop or crackle during play.

Ex minus : A few more hairline and light marks still. May be some light background noise, with the occasional pop, crackle and tick in places.

VG+:  Quite a few marks. I only list records in this condition if they are very rare.
