The Beatles - ’At Home With The Beatles 1960-1969’ CD

The Beatles 'At Home With The Beatles 1960-1969' huge 29 track bootleg CD. A wonderful collection of essentially early mainly acoustic demo recordings of Beatles songs and unreleased tracks. Many are offered here in the very earliest stages of development and it is a joy to hear how John, Paul and George got these out of their heads and onto tape.

Included here are some absolute gems for Beatles enthusiasts - two acoustic versions of ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ performed by John and recorded by Ringo at his Montague Square apartment, London. Dare I say it, but these are THE greatest versions of that track, far better than any ‘Let It Be’ or ‘Get Back’ sessions version. John’s January 1967 piano demo of ‘You Know My Name (Look up the Number)’ is a rough version which sounds like it was heading for inclusion on the ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ E.P rather than the polished version is later surfaced as in 1970. Paul’s home demo’s with DJ Kenny Everett are, well quite bizarre. Also included are a great selection of white album demo's recorded at Georges home Kinfauns in 1968. None of these are the tracks included on the official Anthology series. Two very early instrumental and untitled tracks recorded at the McCartney family home in January - February 1960 are a joy to hear. These even predate the fabulous ‘Wildcat!’ session from April/May of the same year. I could go on all night writing about these tracks, I just love it as I am sure you will. A very diverse collection of home recordings.

The package included here is beautifully designed, even down to the EMI test pressing / acetate labels. It is all in perfect MINT condition.
