Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1967 first pressing collectible vinyl on the old GOLD label of Elektra of the sixties...

Elektra Records knew what was hot in the music world of '67, having just had a monumental hit at the hands of the DOORS first album, they arranged to release these way-out psychedelic sounds with dark overtones & loads of wiggy effects that included mystical sounds and trippy recitation voices...

A group of musicians teamed up as Zodiac to perform the astral- psychedelia of Mort Garson (music) and Jacques Wilson (words) on their 1967 album, Cosmic Sounds. The result was something like a cross-bred monster of Sunset Strip psychedelic rock and the kind of incidental music that you heard on the original Star Trek when aliens appeared on the screen. Each of the 12 tracks is named after a sign of the horoscope (thus the title Cosmic Sounds, get it?) Narrator Cyrus Faryar aims for a balance between Timothy Leary and Rod McKuen as he intones recklessly spaced-out evocations of each phase of the cycle. It's got plenty of sitars, acid-rock guitar, haunting hippie organ, almost-exotic percussion. The overlayed spoken words are just too much and have to be heard to be believed. What's your sign, baby?
