PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

                     SWISS BEAT

                         "  LIVE "

RARE & SOUGHT! Silver/royal blue SWISS - COLUMBIA "Long Playing Micro Groove" high-emd collectible with regard to the "happening" sound of beat-garage raves 1966... the real deal::::

Here is the little seen (especially CLEAN like this copy) 1966 FIRST PRINT of the SUPER-RARE Columbia Records "SWISS BEAT" Album ...

Three "killer" Swiss beat-rock bands (equal to USA garage scene) topped-off by the Sauterelles ...yes, the album all about the SAUTERELLES who made two highly essential albums in the '60s.

ALL TRACKS EXCLUSIVE TO THIS ALBUM which renders it important for any garage collection "dreams"

The Swiss '60s "garage/beat" SAUTERELLES have sometimes been mistakenly identified as a British group due to their quite catchy style of British garage-beat sound led by cool reverby & fuzz guitar along with with high harmonies, psychedelic lyrics, and driving grooves. The band had actually been recording since 1965, and established themselves as one of Switzerland's best and most popular groups. The tracks are all filled with a brash energy that made their importance stand out above the scores of similar garge and beat bands from around the globe during the sixties golden age.

The Counts and the Dynamites were also significant guitar-driven "Stones"-like beat-garage bands from the mid sixties who managed a couple or so highly collectible 45's, but sadly NO Lp's ... Swiss Beat Live showcases both bands ability to perform within highest levels of STONES, ANIMALS, YARDBIRDS -styled RAVE-UPS!

We have not had an original of this rarity for literally 20+ years, so, givin the factthis copy has been preserved so nicely, best to act now...

Only other copy on the internet is a $300 overseas copy rendered described as "warped" but plays VG+ ... advised that copies at overseas record fairs are highly scarce ten when available sell for $300 to $1000 depending condition.

The record was reissued in 1996 [ the reissue can be found with a little patience ]
