Great old copy of “and a Happy New Year” on a 7” vinyl picture disc. I think it’s pretty rare- one article I read said it was an “unofficial release”, whatever that is. It has Jimi’s face on one side, with the title. The other side is a multicolored wreath on a white background with the song titles- “Little Drummer Boy”, “Silent Night”, and “Auld Lang Syne”. It doesn’t give the playing speed- it is the size of a 45rpm but has the small center hole of an lp. The label says “ A Depaja Enterprises Production”, “Produced by Alan Douglas for Douglas Producing Corp”, “Reprise Records, a division of Warner Bros Records Inc”, and “1974- Warner Bros Records Inc. Printed in USA”. It doesn’t have any serial number like records usually do. It was in a clear vinyl sleeve when I bought it. It is in really good condition- still has a little shine to the surface and no visible scratches. I have no turntable, so I didn’t play it. I got this and a couple of other really cool pieces from the estate sale of a local classic rock collector I went to high school with in 70’s, so please check out my other auctions.
