The Velvet Underground & Nico Warhol Orig MONO LP Banana Psych

Here we are offering an Original MONO copy of the Velvet Underground and Nico LP with the peelable banana created by Andy Warhol, still intact on the cover .
Released on Verve Records in March of 1967 catalog number V-5008.

Condition of the cover:
The banana has been peeled from the cover at one point in time, and reapplied. There is a tear at the bottom of the banana, another towards the top, and the stem is detached, but present. (see photos) That being said, Overall in pretty nice condition.   The cover shows signs of age, and slight discoloration. There is a split along the top of the record pocket (see photo). No other splits to the seams or spine. No writing, no sticker stains. There is some staining on the lower left of the back cover, not sure what caused this,(see photo)  Over all, I would call this copy very acceptable.
Condition of the record: Surface shows a number of hairlines as well as a few light surface mars. Very, very minor background noise during playback, mainly during the quite moments on Femme Fatale otherwise… not noticable anywhere else in the playback.   Plays well throughout. visual graded: VG,  play graded: VG+!!
Also included is the original Verve factory inner sleeve in excellent condition!
