This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Sidney Bechet “Giant of Jazz, Volume 1” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1203. The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. Other than 1 ¼” wear at the bottom of the spine and very light normal rubbing along the bottom seam, the Lexington Avenue frame cover is in extraordinary condition in every respect – bright and clean throughout – with an immaculate front and back.
