Near Mint (NM) – Nearly perfect. Vinyl has no visible defects. Cover has no signs of wear.
Excellent (EX) - Except for a few minor things, it would be NM. Vinyl imperfections are purely cosmetic. Cover has only minor signs of wear.
Very Good + (VG+) - A few more light scuffs and scratches than on an Excellent record, but the listening experience is still not hindered. Cover may have a defect or two (a cutout, for instance) but is otherwise very nice.
Very Good (VG) - Scratches/scuffs are more prominent, so surface noise is more frequent. Cover has many signs of human handling.
Good - Plays without skipping, but has significant surface noise.  Cover imperfections are distracting.
