This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped stereo “P”-pressing of John Coltrane “Blue Train” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BST 1577. Other than two inaudible light scuffs, the playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. The laminated West 63rd cover is in extraordinary condition – bright and clean throughout -with sharp corners and perfect seams; small ding at the lower right corner; stereo sticker in the upper left corner of the front.
Personnel include Lee Morgan, Curtis Fuller, Kenny Drew, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones.
