A somewhat intriguing album, obviously country music from the info (song titles, musician and studio credits) on the back of the album. The record was recorded at Breeden Studios in Nashville, which is apparently still there. A number of notable Nashville session musicians are on this album including Jimmy "Duke" Dumas (guitars); Paul Franklin (pedal steel guitar); John Stacey (drums),and Roger Morris (piano and synthesizer), as well as others. Interestingly, there is scant information about the producer of this record, Terry L. Miller, who also played dobro on the album, but most of the others have lots of credentials playing on records or touring on the road with some of the biggest names in country music.

About the Ace of Diamonds label - this is not the same Ace of Diamonds that was a subsidiary of Decca in the 1960s. This Ace of Diamonds appears to be a vanity label for only 3 country music artists (of which Lisa Kay was one). My best guess, Terry Miller was one of those fly-by-night record producers who got fledgling artists to pony up $$ for recording studio time and record costs. He may have promised the moon, but no one on his Ace of Diamonds (private) label (allegedly located in Hammondsport, NY, where there definitely are no record companies) ever made it professionally. Most of the songs on the album were written by other people, but a couple (published by Ace of Diamonds) are written by Lisa Vancise, who just may be Lisa Kay.

The inscription in pen on the front cover (under the shrink wrap) says: "Audrey, I'm glad to have met you and it's been fun workin' with you. With Love, Lisa Kay"

I haven't listened to the record. It came in a big buy with a lot of other strange stuff. I have only ever seen one other copy of it for sale for about 25 bucks from some seller in a foreign country. Don't know how it ended up there.
