Patricio Rey y Sus Redonditos de Ricota "Gulp" factory sealed vinyl, RARE
Patricio Rey y Sus Redonditos de Ricota were a rock band formed in La Plata, Argentina.
The group was active from the mid 70s up to the early 2000s. They keep
an enormous fan-base in their home country and they are considered by
many critics, as one of the most important bands of their generation. Influenced by seminal groups like La Cofradia De La Flor Solar and Pescado Rabioso, this group created original songs, with lyrics that are pure poetry, in a background of progressive rock, hard rock, blues, and pop.
In August 1985, the group released their first studio LP Gulp,
and tracks such as "Barabazul Versus El Amor Lethal," "La Bestia Pop," "Superlógico," and "El Infierno Está
Encantador esta Noche" were frequently played on the radio.
Tracks on the LP: Side A:
1. Barbazul Versus el Amor Letal 2. La Bestia Pop 3. Roto y Mal
Parado 4. Vetricida Pierre 5. Unos Pocos Peligros Sensatos 6. Yo No
Me Cai del Cielo
Side B: 1. Te Voya Atornillar 2. Superlogico 3. Nam Fri
Fruli Fali Fru 4. El Infierno Esta Encantador Esta 5. Criminal Mambo
For cover and other details, see the provided photos of side A and B of the LP.
This is
the 1986 edition on the Peruvian label IEMPSA. This record comes from a
collection of old stock, factory sealed, records found in Los Angeles,
California. The LP is inside a sealed plastic bag, indicating it has
never been played. It doesn't get better than that. The cover has blemishes, specially in the back, for being in cardboard
boxes for many years (see photo). This is a very much sought after, rare LP, with music that defined a generation. The record is factory sealed, once the sealed is broken, the LP is not returnable. Get in touch with me if you have any questions.
This is the time to buy, once they are gone, they will gone forever. ONLY THREE COPIES LEFT.

People sent me so many questions about this LP that I need to issue this disclaimer:
Just in case you are collector that expects all brand new LPs must be audiophile quality
I sold more than 60 copies of this LP without complains. Look at my feedback. I don't
know how the LP sounds since I have never opened one to listen to it.
Factory sealed (LP, vinyl is
inside a sealed bag, like all brand new LPs from Peru at the time).
Cover has some light blemishes due to many years storage in boxes in a
warehouse. This is a Peruvian edition of the LP. I am selling the LP AS
IS. If you open the bag and remove the LP, I will not take it back (no
returns). Imperfections on a brand new recording are to be expected. I
cannot guarantee it will satisfy every collector pre-conceived notion of
the quality of a new LP. I am selling the LP AS IS. It will be your
decision if you want to buy it or not.
