Herb Pomeroy Jazz in a stable Transition original US issue with booklet   Herb Pomeroy  ' Jazz in a stable '  TRANSITION TRLP 1 (USA) black label with gold print - rec. in March 13, 1955 - originally issued in 1956 - very rare original first record of the Transition label with both labels intact not detached like most of the Transition record - includes an 8 pages original booklet    Herb Pomeroy : trumpet - Ray Santisi : piano - Varty Haroutunian : tenor sax - James Zitano : drums -John Neves : bass                                                                                                                  Side A : It might as well be spring - Honey bunny - Moten swing - Posta desks and tuxedos - One bass hit Side B : Off minor - Sweet and lovely - Ray's idea - Dear old Stockholm    Visual grading : record is VG+ full lustre has light wear and several tiny unfeelable lines on both sieds. Clean labels with light spindle wear. There is small tear and a stamp 'Demo' on label side A  Playing grading : record is VG+ plays well with loud and clear sound, Has some light occasional ticks and few louder pops at the beginning of side B Cover grading : cover is VG has clean nice slick on front. Back cover has age yellowing and light browning around the edges. Has a writing 'DJ demo' in the middle of back and another writing 'P-764' on top right corner of back  Original 8 pages booklet is EX has light handling only
