This UK 1st pressing is the transluscent black vinyl and looks reddish / purple when held against a strong light source .
etched matrices are DJLPS 406 A-4 & DJLPS 406 B1
released on DJM Records DJLPS 406 in 1970
The condition of the record is excellent.
The gatefold picture sleeve has very creasing on the edges and a very light transparent mark from sticker removal.
The labels are clean with a couple of very light spindle marks.
A superb copy of this Elton John classic debut album on the original translucent ‘ruby red’ vinyl UK 1st pressing !
