Roy Acuff and his Crazy Tennesseans doing the all-time Classic, Great Speckled Bird (here misspelled "Speckle") on the very original issue, Conqueror 8740. In the original Conqueror sleeve, which is AUTOGRAPHED by Acuff himself. The signature says "to Chuck Flynn with Friendship". Now, Chuck Flynn was a Nashville based musician who's one claim to fame was that he was in the band that is featured in the movie, Coal Miner's Daughter. So this record was signed to a fellow musician in Nashville with whom Acuff was friendly. A nice little piece of country music history.
The disc is in truly excellent condition. I would say VG++. Some scuffs but only superficial ones. Plays really beautifully and clearly. A great copy.
