This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono pressing of Art Blakey “A Jazz Message” on Impulse A-45. Other than an inaudible superficial mark on the first track of Side 2, the playing surface is in near-new condition, with a nice luster; perhaps played once. The laminated gatefold cover is also in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout – with slight wear at the corners. Illustrated inner sleeve is included.
