'Time Out' is a studio album by The Dave Brubeck Quartet, released in 1959 on Columbia Records. This is a Spanish repress from 2010.

Vinyl LP, first pressing, single sleeve, Jazz Wax Records JWR 4525. Stereo, Direct Metal Mastered, 180g.

Plain white inner sleeve. Cover, labels and record in near mint condition.

'I was nervous when I got this, since I read so much bad things about the sound of the Jazz Wax Records label. Thought for the price, it is worth the risk, also for comparison purposes. This record sounds great. Compared to my other "audiophile 180g" pressings of Take Five songs, I really do not hear a meaningful difference. Yes, I have a good cart, amp, and speakers... The extra song on here "Audrey" has a bit of background noise, or it is not as clear sounding as the other songs. Who cares, it is a bonus and a nice song at that. Actually thought about getting the 200g 45rpm record, then again 11,50€ (I paid only nine since the cover had a crease;). Those pseudo audiophiles...as if they hear a significant better sound…'

'Excellent remaster. It's VERY crank-able while maintaining it's clean, dynamic sound. I have original 6-eye MONO and Stereo issues as well. But it's nice to get a clean copy without all the pops and clicks.'
