This is a from a record collection of very well maintained LPs from the 1960s and 70s. This Beatles LP looks very clean but upon more careful inspection, there is a white fleck on Side 1 that could flake off with proper removal technique, or may not be removable and provide an impediment to play at this location. It is shown in a listing photo; a second very light fleck seen in lead-in on Side 1 also. For that reason, I provided a graded range of VG+ to VG++; it would be VG++ to NM (closer to NM) if this fleck was not present. I don't know what the flecks are - they may be flecks of paint or white-out; they do not appear to be manufactured in but I suppose that's a possibility. The LP is priced accordingly - probably worth the cost for the jacket, insert, and sleeve alone.
This is a 1967 MONO version, Capitol MAS 2653, with these matrices:
Matrix / Runout (Side A runout, etched / IAM, stamped in triangle): MAS-1-2653-F1 #4 IAM Matrix / Runout (Side B runout, etched / IAM, stamped in triangle): MAS-2-2653-F1 #4 IAM
The jacket has light corner wear, very light edge wear, no splits, rings or marks. ORIGINAL red/white inner sleeve, UNSPLIT. The LP is stored and will be shipped in a plain white inner sleeve. Insert present in EXCELLENT CONDITION, sharp corners. As noted, the LP is very clean except for these flecks, I'll grade in the range of VG+ to VG++.
BONUS: An article on the Beatles from the January 28, 1968 of the Washington Post was found in the jacket, in two parts (beginning and continuation of the article) folded against the back of the insert, leaving an impression (see listing photo). It will be stored separately in a plastic sleeve.
