Blind Faith was the English supergroup composed of Cream's Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker, Traffic's Steve Winwood, and Family bassist Rick Grech that was together just long enough to release this landmark 1969 self-titled album. It was on Atlantic's ATCO label (33-304B) in the U.S. but had a different cover and was on Polydor in other parts of the world.
The disc plays very well and I grade it as VG+ which is as high as I grade vintage vinyl. The cover is VG because it has some minor stains on the back and a small split at the top (see the pictures).
In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.
Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.
This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 51 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
