Rare Mike Oldfield Tubular Bells QUADRONPHONIC Vinyl LP from my own record collection.

The Vinyl Is visually In (VG) Condition with very few light surface marks. It plays well with some surface noise which is more noticeable in the quieter moments & run-ins.

The vinyl is presented on the rare hard to find 1973 1st pressing of the original Virgin “Red Dragon Label” which is in lovely condition.  The original Virgin logo (known to fans as the "Gemini" or "Twins" logo) was designed by English artist and illustrator Roger Dean: a young naked woman in mirror image with a large long-tailed serpent and the word "Virgin" in Dean's familiar script).

Information on this label can be found on “Rare Record Collector” and other sources. The LP sleeve is in very good condition with a few light marks, the top of the sleeve seem has been reinforced with sellotape to protect/close a split. It comes with the quadraphonic branding label sticker on the album cover. The record is stored in a antistatic inner sleeve and the album cover protected with a clear plastic sleeve .

Although this is a Quadrophonic recording the LP plays in normal Stereo & Mono on all turntables. You will only get the benefits of the Quadrophonic reproduction if playback is through a quadrophonic amplifier or decoder unit.
