FOR PERSONAL REASONS, I AM LOWERING THE PRICES ON ALL MY VINYL AND AUCTIONS BELOW COMPETITIVE.  MAKES FOR SOME RARE ITEMS IN GREAT CONDITION AT LOW PRICES - THE BEST OF ALL WORLDS FOR COLLECTORS.

THIS IS AN ULTRA RARE 1981 LP ISSUE OF THE SINGER FROM SPAIN CALLED "JEANETTE"  WHO THEY ALSO CALL, "THE SILKY-VOICED SONGSTRESS."  WHEN I LISTENED TO THE RECORD, IT WAS OBVIOUS WHY THEY SHE HAS THAT TITLE.  SHE HAS A VERY INNOCENT, BUT VERY SEXY VOICE AND STYLE OF SINGING. TOTALLY ENJOYABLE PERFORMANCE.

ONE SELLER OFFERED THE FOLLOWING DESCRIPTION OF JEANETTE --- "Jeanette wasn't Spanish by birth; she was born in London in 1951 and spent her early years in Chicago and Los Angeles. But it was only a few years after moving to Barcelona that she scored a #1 record with her band Pic-Nic, establishing a firm footing in the Spanish music world that would span three decades. Jeanette's hushed, languid voice seemed almost revolutionary in 60s Spain. In the quiet sexy tones of her voice was real strength and a form of almost Marilyn Monroe sincerity. It was innocent, yet arousing.  In Japan, Jeanette's voice earned her the nickname "whispering Lolita" and she shares a vocal style comparable with French stars Jane Birkin and France Gall, who built careers around the seductive delicacy of their voices. 

AS A BONUS, THE WHOLE ALBUM PACKAGE IS NEAR MINT.  NO FLAWS ON THE COVER. THE VINYL ALSO DISPLAYS AS EXCELLENT WITH NO MEANINGFUL SCRATCHES OR FLAWS.  I PLAYED THE VINYL ON BOTH SIDES, AND IT PLAYED BEAUTIFULLY WITH NO ISSUES AT ALL.

THE ALBUM COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL SONG LYRICS LINER SHEET THAT WAS ENCLOSED AS A BONUS.  THE LINER HAS A LITTLE WEAR, BUT IS STILL IN WELL-PRESERVED CONDITION (AFTER NEARLY 40-YEARS). 

THIS LP WAS RECORDED ON THE RCA RECORD LABEL IN MADRID (SPAIN) NUMBERED PL-35348 AS SHOWN ON THE BACK COVER.  

THIS SUPER RARE ENTERTAINING ISSUE IN OVERALL NEAR MINT CONDITION IS PRICED TO SELL TO THE RIGHT SELECTIVE COLLECTOR.
