The Beatles "At The Hollywood Bowl" was released in May 1977 on Capitol Records. It was the group's first live album despite the fact that it was cobbled together from shows more than 10 year earlier that were recorded in August 1964 and August 1965.
This copy (SMAS-11638) is from the first pressing and is in excellent condition. The embossed gatefold cover is still in its original factory shrink wrap and easily grades as VG+. Please note that due to the shrink wrap, the photo included of the interior gatefold is from another copy. The dead wax is etched with SMAS-1-11638-G12 ML and Mastered by Capitol. The disc plays perfectly and is VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl.
In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.
Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.
This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 43 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
