Rare original release of Crosby's Merry Christmas album, with five discs instead of only four, as on the slightly later editions. Includes White Christmas, Silent Night, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, I'll Be Home For Christmas, Danny Boy, Faith of Our Fathers, Let's Start the New Year Right, Adeste Fidelis, and the last disc includes the Andrews Sisters on Santa Claus is Comin' to Town and Jingle Bells.
This copy is really in beautiful condition, seemingly rarely played. The discs have some very very minor scuffs and very faint surface marks but play just beautifully. The fifth disc is the later Decca "block letter" logo, for some reason, and is the only disc with and real scuffs or wear, but it is very minor and only on the surface. All the discs play near perfectly. A lovely lovely copy. The cover also is in beautiful condition with only the slightest signs of shelfwear, and some edgewear mainly along the bottom. Still beautifully intact with a perfect spine and strong binding. This is a truly top copy of this wonderful classic, and by far the best way to listen to this music.
