I have been breaking up my Beatles' collection for over a year.  Now I am digging into my personal collection.....and the Butcher Covers must go.  Four of them....I held these out from previous sales - as they are the best I have seen since 1976!
An excellent Mono Yesterday & Today 3rd State Butcher Cover - the Trunk Cover was removed professionally and is one piece as you can see in photos.

From my notes when I purchased from Blue Jay Way in California:   Original 1966 Capitol Records Mono T2553 Complete 3rd State (Peeled) Butcher Cover Package w/Inner Sleeve. This is a more rare and unusual 3rd state (peeled) Scranton mono cover in that you can actually see part of the bench underneath John that the band was seated on. Most of the Butcher Slicks that were cut for the jackets at Capitol in 1966 didn't show this small portion of the bench, but you will occasionally see this on some mono 3rd states, but not too many as it appears to have been a mistake at the pressing plant. As a result, this variation of 3rd state is more desired by some.
