It was released in November 2103 for 'Black Friday', on the 'Streamline/Interscope Records' label (cat. no. B0019493-11 ) in a Limited Edition of just 2000 copies, and comes in a stickered, clear pvc sleeve.

'Applause' was the lead single taken from Lady Gaga's third album, 'Artpop' and was originally released on August 12th 2013. The song was inspired by the cheering of her fans, which kept her motivated during the months she toured with the 'Born This Way Ball' in pain, before cancelling it due to a hip injury, and pays respect to the art of performance. 'Applause' topped the charts in several countries and reached the Top 10 in many others. On the US Billboard 'Hot 100' chart, it reached #4 and on the UK singles chart it reached #5.

This Very Limited 12" Picture Disc was issued for 'Black Friday 2013' and features nine remixes of the track from Empire of the Sun, Viceroy, Purity Ring, Steven Redant/Dave Verde & Guy Scheiman's Bent Collective, DJ White Shadow, Faron and Goldhouse.

Brand New and Unplayed, but for accuracy, I have noticed a 3cm slit in the middle of the front, left side of the sleeve (see pic.)
